Made this over a weekend using 1 uni-ball vision pen, 5 sharpies (hadn't planned on limiting the color palette when I wrote the intro frames), 1 piece of bristol vellum, 1 epson scanner (yes, these are over 550 separate scans).

A video piece for A People's Guide to Icelandic Butterflies.

Spearheaded by American artists Louisa Conrad and Lucas Farrell, in association with 350.org—an international campaign dedicated to building a movement to unite the world around solutions to the climate crisis—the People's Guide hopes to incite the creation of 350 Iceland-bound butterflies, thereby sparking discussion of current and impending ecological dynamics associated with climate change in the arctic.
